Confetti Brownies

I love brownies. I use a couple of different kinds of chocolate in my standard recipe and it got me thinking (danger!). Why use plain old chocolate chips? Instead, I chopped up some candy melts (from the cake pops) and tossed them into the batter. They created a lovely spring confetti look.

You can use any color to match you mood and really kick up a box mix! Since these pastel colors were so fun, I drizzled a little more melted candy over the top before I cut them up.

After they were stacked I used a few butterflies to add some pizazz since these were “party brownies” for a lovely outdoor picnic.
